It's a wonderful series with a haunting soundtrack, evocative and atmospheric, with elements drawn from music of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries (the Brother Caedfael series is set in the twelfth century, during the reign of King Stephen and just prior to the ascencion of the first Plantagenet king, Henry II). It's almost impossible to find.
